Shipping

I am back to shipping orders every day Monday through Friday (other than holidays)

We ship via UPS, FedEx and Postal Service, and we can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on shipping methods for some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.  If there are any conflicts in this regard on your order, we will contact you to make any necessary arrangements.

When you place an order, our website will estimate shipping costs for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may also appear on the shipping quotes page.  Please note that the shipping costs and delivery dates are estimates only, if there is a discrepancy we will contact you regarding any refunds or additional charges.

Please also note that the shipping rates for most of the items we sell are weight-based or based upon dimensional weight for large items. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

 

For orders shipping to a US address

We do offer free ground shipping on orders of $50 and more to continental US addresses.  If you choose to use free ground shipping, we will choose the carrier based on a combination of cost and speed - delivery is normally within 1- 5 business days after the shipping date.  Should you choose a specific carrier during checkout and not the free ground shipping, the quoted costs will apply.

Shipping charges Do Not include any customs duties or fees charged by your local customs office.  Please contact your local customs office to determine any taxes and fees you will be responsible for to complete delivery of your package.  We do not estimate or pay these fees on your behalf.

Our systems are configured to generate customs paperwork based upon the items you order, so it is not feasible for us to adjust customs values on international shipments.


Returns or Exchanges

Bottom line, we want you to be 100% satisfied.  Here's our simple returns policy:  Our goal is that you are happy and successful with your purchase.  So if for any reason you are unhappy with it within 6 months of your purchase just let us know and we'll get you a refund, exchange or replacement.

If you are experiencing trouble with any item purchased from us, please contact us by chat, using our contact form, by phone (505-570-2040) or by email and we will work out a solution that will make you happy - that is our ultimate goal.  We don't just sell the items we stock, we use them and are confident in the quality of them.  That also means we can provide technique or technical assistance if needed to help you get the results you are looking for.

If you have received an item in error or have received a defective item, we are very sorry for the trouble.  Please feel free to contact us directly by phone (505-570-2040) or by email and we can arrange to get you missing parts, replacement parts or a replacement item.  We will of course pay the return and reshipping shipping costs necessary.

If within 6 months of your purchase you are not completely satisfied with any of your products purchased from us we will exchange it for a replacement, exchange if for another item or provide you with a refund

In all cases, we will provide our return shipping address for you when we have full details of your return.

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button.  When we receive your return request, we will provide you with our return shipping address and any other details to include with your package to ensure we can process your return quickly.  We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in most cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
