Dan's Translucent Arkansas 1 x 4 inch stone for the KME

Extra Fine Translucent Arkansas Stone by Dan's Whetstone Company cut to 1 x 4 to fit the stone carrier of KME sharpeners. It is also perfect to carry in your pocket, toolbox or pack for quick touch ups.  Comes with plastic storage/carrying tube.

It is an excellent finishing stone which produces a razor edge on your knives or tools.

The translucent Arkansas is in what Dan's calls the True Hard grade and can occur in a translucent shade of grey, yellow brown or pink.  It exists as a separate grade due to customer demand.

Arkansas are not measured by grit size or color, instead they are divided by specific gravity into grades or hardness - the softer the stone the more coarse it performs, the harder it is, the finer it performs.
